B. WE MUST ALSO MEET GOD IN JUDGMENT. WE NEED TO PREPARE.

B. WHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN?
1. Jesus will come( Matt. 25:31 ).
2. All the dead will be raised( John 5:28-29 ).
3. All the nations will be gathered before the Lord( Matt. 25:32; Acts 17:31 ).
4. All will be judge according to his works( 2 Cor. 5:10 ).
5. Even our innermost secrets will be judged( Ecc. 12:14; Heb. 4:12-13 ).
6. The standard will be Jesus( Acts 17:30 ) and his teaching( John 12:48 ).
7. John's description( Rev. 20:11-15 ).
A. THE NEED IS SEEN IN THE PARABLE OF THE VIRGINS( Matt. 25:1-13 ).
B. WHAT MUST WE DO?( Matt. 7:21; 1 John 2:17 ).
1. If you are outside the church:
a. Believe on Jesus( John 20:30-31 ).
b. Repent of your sins( Acts 17:30; Col. 3:5-10 ).
c. Confess Jesus( 1 Tim. 6:12; Rom. 10:10 ).
d. Be baptized --in obedience( Mark 16:16 ).
--washing away sin( Acts 22:16; 2:38 ).
--into Christ and the church( Gal. 3:26-27; 1 Cor. 12:13 ).
2, If you are in the church:
a. Make Jesus the Lord of your life( 1 Pet. 3:15 ).
b. Study his word( 2 Tim. 2:15 ).
c. Teach somebody else( 2 Tim. 2:2 ).
d. Trust in his promise( Heb. 11:6 ).
e. Ephesians 4:1.
A. SOME ARE LIKE FELIX AND DRUSILLA( Acts 24:25 ).
B. TOO MANY HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO FIRST( Luke 9:57-62 ).
C. TWO REASONS FOR PREPARING NOW:
1. Matt. 24:36, 44; 25:13. We don't know when Jesus will come.
2. We don't know when we will die( James 4:13-14 ).
D. DO WE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY( James 4:17; Heb. 2:1-3; 2 Cor. 6:1 ).
